Kelaher Associates is a Manufacturer’s Representative group located in New Britain, Connecticut. The company was started in 1987 by Kevin and Jim Kelaher. We specialize in the sales of Architectural Hardware, Weatherstripping, Lite and Louvre Kits, Electromechanical Hardware, High Security and Electronic Cylinders, Power Operators, Hollow Metal and Wood Doors, Specialty Doors, Access Control Products, Washroom Accessories, Toilet Partitions, Lockers, Locksmith Supplies, and Safes.
Our staff consists of sixteen experienced people that work with all segments of the security marketplace, including nine outside sales people, three inside sales/customer service people, and four industry specific specialists to offer maximum coverage for the six New England states. As part of our daily routine, we implement a strong sales effort toward end users, distributors, buying influencers (architects and specification writers), locksmiths and access control dealers.
Our philosophy is to use programs offered by the manufacturers that we represent to the fullest extent and in the most productive manner. Understanding the programs, the market segments and the individual needs of all accounts are the keys to obtaining the best return on investment. Therefore, we have developed an agency to include individuals who understand the specifics of each market and can turn programs into purchase orders.
